Antelope Island - October 2009

We headed to Antelope Island again this October since it seems to be a safe haven for a campout during the deer hunting season. We rode our bikes across the causeway and then to our campsite which was a little over 10 miles. The next morning we rode another 9 miles on some of the trails and roads on the island. We saw several buffalo. The Scouts planned out a baconburger and french fry dinner that was very good and for breakfast we had breakfast burritos, one of our troop favorite meals. Weather was cool but we lucked out with only a sprinkle of rain after we had retired for the night.
