The first part of August we attended a week long camp at Camp Loll nestled between the Tetons and Yellowstone Natl Park. The entire troop went together (Scouts, Varsity, Venture) and had a great time. This camp is awesome!
The Scouts were able to take part in numerous activities including rappelling, rock climbing, archery, rifle shooting, rowing, kayaking, and more.
We hiked to Union Falls and Scout Pool in the Yellowstone pristine back country.
The water at this camp is notoriously the coldest of all the camps in our council and it did not disappoint. Our troop had the only mile swim participants at camp that week. We had 6 members complete the mile with a couple of them going a little extra.
The entire troop also completed the "Polar Bear" by being submerged in a cascading waterfall that was in the 30 degree range. Brrrrr
We are looking forward to attending Loll again next year in July
