Maples Campsight near Snow Basin

For our May campout we took a short backpack trip into an old abandoned campground called the Maples near Snow Basin. The troop has been working on the Camping Merit Badge and was able to pass off a number of the requirements on this trip including cooking their meals on light weight backpacking stoves. It was a fun place to camp and the scenery was awesome with our campsight right under the snow line of the peaks yet it was still warm enough to be wearing t-shirts.
