In May the troop performed service for the local community by repairing several areas along the Kays Creek Trail where erosion had taken its toll this spring and washed away the supporting hillside along the trail. The city supplied us with the materials and troop 539 supplied some great labor in repairing the trail. The project also served as a conservation project to fulfill a requirement for the camping merit badge. Thanks to Landon and Corky for getting everything all lined up for the troop on this great project.
