Crystal Hot Springs

The troop attended Crystal Hot Springs again this spring to start off the approaching warmer season. It was great being in Honeyville with everything turning green and the snow covered mountains as a backdrop. We had a good time Friday night getting camp set up and the Scouts preparing the dinner they had planned which was grilled hamburgers topped with bacon and ranch dressing and a side of dutch oven fried french fries. The leaders then added a dutch oven peach cobbler to top it all off. Saturday morning was the traditional eggs and sausage then we cleaned up camp and headed over to the hot springs for some fun in the water. As usual things got a little crazy on the water slides... Everyone had a great time and the weather was nice for the duration of the campout. We could do without the freight train blowing its whistle as if flies through the campground in the middle of the night but otherwise a great time.
