The Scouts and Vasity Scouts headed to North Fork Park for our November campout. Once camp was setup, there was some good football to be had before it got too dark. Hobo (tinfoil) dinners were on the menu and Nolan treated us with a dutch oven cobler for desert (Excellent!).
We had a great view of Ben Lomond peak from our campsite and a full moon that evening that was incredibly bright. While we were fortunate to have dry ground and no snow for camping this time of year, the clear sky made for a very cold night for some.
Saturday morning we hiked a little ways up the Ben Lomond trail making it just shy of the snow line. It was a great day for mid November to be out hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
