Bear River Service (Cory's Cabin)

After taking the month of December off we were back at it in January taking a trip to the Bear River Service to do some winter camping. We camped on land owned by Cory's grandpa which was great since there was also a cabin where we could prepare meals, etc.
We had a great night for getting setup on Friday with pretty moderate temperatures and no snow during setup. All of the gear, food, and Scouts were transported in by snowmobile to the cabin which went very smooth.
During the night we had 1-2 inches of snow fall but nothing too major. However, Saturday morning the snow started falling pretty hard and was a very wet heavy snow so after camp was cleaned up and breakfast out of the way we had some fun riding around on the snowmobiles and then packed up and got on the road before the storm got any worse.
Everyone had a great time.
Thanks to Cory for the use of the snowmobiles, the cabin, the cooking, etc. You were an awesome host!!!
